Enjoy 5.1-channel surround sound with your favorite speaker system and the Yamaha RX-V385 5.1-Channel A/V Receiver. It has Bluetooth built-in for wireless connection to your compatible smart devices, headphones, or speakers. The receiver outputs up to 70W per channel at 8 Ohms and features YPAO sound calibration to tailor the sound to your environment.

Quality of Audio

Since this is an entry-level model, it comes with more basic surround sound features. Since it is a 5.2 channel receiver, you will mostly have to settle with the basic setups. It doesn’t come with DTS:X or Dolby Atmos. Most 5.1 receivers today do come with these features.

Full 4K

Providing complete compatibility with the latest HDMI standards, this AV receiver delivers transmission of 4K video at 60 frames/second pass-through. It also supports HDR (high dynamic range) Video including Dolby Vision and Hybrid Log-Gamma which provides incredible contrast, smooth tone and rich, bright colors—giving you full, high-definition enjoyment with an exceptionally realistic and natural picture quality.

Designed for Sound

The RX-V385 offers the ability to bi-amp compatible front speakers (L, R), which drives the high and low ranges with independent amplifiers. In addition to providing greater power, it also prevents interference between the high and low sounds, further improving the sound of the front speakers (trade with surround speakers).

Full Resolution, Total Immersion

Unlock the full potential of your 4K content. Enhanced Audio Return Channel (also known as eARC) is the next generation of ARC – available in the industry-leading AV receivers from Yamaha. eARC delivers full-resolution, multichannel audio formats such as Dolby® TrueHD and DTS-HD® through your existing HDMI connection, giving you the most realistic surround sound experience for immersing yourself in your favorite movies and moments.

An Easy Install

Use this special app and get expert assistance with cable connections between the AV receiver and source devices. It even guides you through various other settings such as speaker connections, TV and source device connections and power amplifier assignments.
